The Modern Information Society and Innovations Public Union, the winner of a special grant competition announced by the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the Year of Shusha, held an online working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan as part of the project.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the work carried out in Ağalı village and the smart solutions implemented there. The experiences of Singapore and Denmark, where Smart City and Smart Village concepts have been successfully implemented, were also analyzed.
Participants exchanged views on the prospects for applying advanced international practices in Shusha and other cities and regions liberated from occupation. In addition, discussions focused on approaches to developing the “Smart Citizen” model—citizens who can effectively benefit from Smart City and Smart Village initiatives and use digital solutions in a convenient and efficient manner.
It was noted that meetings with other relevant institutions are ongoing within the framework of the project.
