A meeting was held between the Public Union of Modern Information Society and Innovations and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport

September 27, 2022, Baku “Modern Information Society and Innovations” Public Union, the winner of the special grant competition announced by the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the “Year of Shusha”, held an online meeting with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport within the framework of the project. During the meeting, the work done in Agali village and the smart solutions implemented were discussed, and the experiences of Singapore and Denmark, where the “smart city” / “smart village” concepts were successfully implemented, were analyzed. Prospects of applying advanced international practices in Shusha and other cities and regions freed from occupation were discussed. In addition, ideas were exchanged on the methods of forming the “Smart Citizen” model, which will benefit from the “Smart City” / “Smart Village” projects and use digital solutions conveniently and effectively. It should be noted that meetings with the relevant institutions are ongoing within the project.
