September 26, 2022, Baku “Modern information society and innovations” public association, the winner of the special grant competition announced by the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the “Year of Shusha”, held an online meeting with the representatives of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee within the framework of the project. During the meeting, the application of modern solutions in the process of recovery and reconstruction in the post-conflict period, as well as methods of facilitating the use of these modern technologies by Shusha residents after repatriation (return to the homeland) were discussed. Ramil Jahangirov, deputy director of the committee’s project management department in the liberated territories, emphasized the importance of studying the international experience of effective application of modern technologies without conflicting with the rich historical heritage in Shusha’s example. Also, the main directions of surveys to be drawn up in order to study the opinions of residents on this and other related topics were analyzed. It should be noted that meetings with the relevant institutions are ongoing within the project.
