Within the framework of the project “Research of International Experience on the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration,” the research visit of the Modern Information Society and Innovations Public Union (the Union) to Finland is ongoing.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held at the prestigious Aalto University, where representatives of the University presented artificial intelligence–based projects developed by the institution. Particular attention was given to the TRUST-M system, which was jointly developed through the collaboration of Aalto University, University of Helsinki, Tampere University, and the Espoo City Municipality. The system aims to reduce discrimination against women and immigrants in the labor market through the use of AI-driven solutions.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the design and functionality of the TRUST-M system, as well as its potential contribution to social development and inclusive labor market policies. In addition, discussions were held on the importance of promoting citizen participation to ensure the sustainability of the system and the broader project, emphasizing the role of individuals and communities in supporting responsible and effective AI-based governance solutions.
The Union’s research visit aimed at studying international best practices in this field continues.
