As part of its ongoing research visit to Finland under the project “Research of International Experience on the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration,” the Modern Information Society and Innovations Public Union (the Union) held a meeting with the Finland-based environmental technology company RiverRecycle.
During the meeting, participants were introduced to advanced technologies used in environmental protection, particularly innovative solutions applied to the cleaning of rivers and water bodies. The discussion also explored the potential use of artificial intelligence in environmental monitoring, waste management, and sustainable resource management.
In addition, the importance of citizen participation in environmental initiatives was highlighted. The parties exchanged views on possible awareness-raising projects aimed at encouraging public engagement and promoting environmentally responsible behavior through the use of digital and AI-based tools.
The meeting contributed to a broader understanding of how artificial intelligence can support environmental sustainability and inclusive governance.
