{"id":1656,"date":"2022-12-23T13:39:39","date_gmt":"2022-12-23T13:39:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/misunion.org\/?p=1656"},"modified":"2026-01-10T11:25:44","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T11:25:44","slug":"a-meeting-was-held-between-the-public-union-of-modern-information-society-and-innovations-and-the-embassy-of-sweden-in-the-republic-of-azerbaijan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/misunion.org\/az\/a-meeting-was-held-between-the-public-union-of-modern-information-society-and-innovations-and-the-embassy-of-sweden-in-the-republic-of-azerbaijan\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit to the Embassy of Sweden in the Republic of Azerbaijan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"41\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"41\">September 20, 2022 | Baku, Azerbaijan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"43\" data-end=\"345\">The <strong data-start=\"47\" data-end=\"88\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Modern Information Society and Innovations Public Union<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, the winner of a special grant competition announced by the <strong data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"190\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan<\/span><\/span><\/strong> within the framework of the <em data-start=\"219\" data-end=\"235\">Year of Shusha<\/em>, continued its project activities with a high-level meeting at the <strong data-start=\"303\" data-end=\"344\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in the Republic of Azerbaijan<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"347\" data-end=\"792\">Within the framework of the project\u2014<em data-start=\"383\" data-end=\"651\">\u201cSupporting the return to Shusha through research of advanced international practices on citizen participation in the implementation of Smart City and Smart Village projects and the organization of awareness-raising activities of the Kingdom of Sweden in Azerbaijan\u201d<\/em>\u2014discussions were held with <strong data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"720\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Tobias Lorentzon<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"1345\">During the meeting, Mr. Lorentzon shared Sweden\u2019s experience in the development of <em data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"889\">Smart City<\/em> i\u015ftirak\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 <em data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"909\">Smart Village<\/em> initiatives and discussed opportunities for applying these concepts in Azerbaijan\u2019s liberated territories, including <strong data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1068\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">A\u011fal\u0131 village<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.
