The next awareness-raising event within the project was held in <strong data-start=\"402\" data-end=\"443\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Bilasuvar<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"984\">The event brought together representatives of local executive authorities, journalists, young people, and bloggers. During the discussions, <strong data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"627\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Kamil Qurbanl\u0131<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Deputy Director of the Department of Social, Political, and Humanitarian Affairs of the Bilasuvar District Executive Power, emphasized the close cooperation between local authorities and civil society institutions. He noted that the executive authorities are always attentive to NGO initiatives and actively support the organization of public discussions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1528\">Project expert and well-known journalist <strong data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1068\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Seymur Verdizade<\/span><\/span><\/strong> stated that the widespread use of the Internet in Azerbaijan is a positive development in terms of freedom of speech and expression. At the same time, he stressed the importance of ensuring that individual use of social networks does not conflict with broader societal interests. According to him, particularly during sensitive or extreme situations, public opinion formed on social media can lead to negative consequences if misinformation spreads unchecked.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1969\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In his remarks, <strong data-start=\"1546\" data-end=\"1587\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Mirz\u0259 C\u0259f\u0259rov<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Chief Adviser of the Department of Social, Political, and Humanitarian Affairs of the Bilasuvar District Executive Power, called on young people active on social networks to become proactive defenders of national interests.
