Within the framework of the project “Research of International Experience on the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration,” the Modern Information Society and Innovations Public Union (the Union) continues its meetings with research centers and representatives of academia.
A meeting held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) with AI specialist Shahnaz Shahbazova and Elman Jafarov, Dean of the Faculty of Digital Economy, was of particular importance for discussing artificial intelligence research and analyzing the risks and opportunities associated with its application.
During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on Finland’s and Sweden’s experience in the field of artificial intelligence, the results obtained during the Union’s research visits, and the prospects for applying these practices in Azerbaijan. Representatives of UNEC also shared insights into the use of artificial intelligence in the University’s activities, including in the teaching of academic disciplines, and emphasized the importance of continuous research in this field, as well as the application of effective methodologies for studying AI-driven transformations.
The meeting contributed to strengthening cooperation between civil society and academic institutions in advancing evidence-based and responsible approaches to the use of artificial intelligence in public administration.
